On 12 July, the Guild will host a breakfast discussion at the Times Higher Education 'Teaching Excellence Summit' (10-12 July), jointly organised with the University of Glasgow. Participants will debate on education, what students should be learning, as well as different approaches to modern education. Speakers will argue in favour of holistic methods, discuss personalised education, and advocate flexibility: teaching in 2030 should be "research-oriented not just research-based."
Join Guild speakers from the universities of Aarhus, Glasgow, Warwick, Jagiellonian, and Radboud at the Senate Room in the University of Glasgow. The discussion will be part of a series of interviews, debates, and networking events that will take place over the course of two and half days [consult the full programme here].
