The Dual-Use and Defence working group brings together representatives from our member universities with institutional responsibilities and expertise in the areas of security and defence.
Group activities include:
- Discussing recent and emerging developments in EU policy on dual-use and defence-related research
- Shaping Guild positions on research with dual-use potential within Horizon Europe, as well as on defence research under the European Competitiveness Fund
- Facilitating the exchange of best practices and reflecting on institutional approaches to the rapidly evolving field of dual-use and defence research
