General Assembly welcomes Robert-Jan Smits

The Guild’s first General Assembly welcomes Robert-Jan Smits on 21 November 2016 to a discussion on the Horizon 2020 mid-term evaluation, and preparations for the next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. With its eighteen members from thirteen countries across Europe, the discussion will focus on a range of topics, including on how we can best address the science and innovation gap in Europe. Other issues include the role of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities subjects in addressing Europe’s Societal Challenges, and the universities’ role in innovation.
